Automotive BDC Resources

Speed to lead, word tracks, show rate, CRM discipline and the phone room — collected in one place.

A dealership BDC fails in a small number of predictable places. The lead sits too long before anyone touches it. The agent reads a script that sounds like a script. The appointment gets set and nobody shows. The CRM note says “called, LM” and the sales manager has no idea what happened. Every article below is about one of those failure points.

This page is a library, not a sales pitch. If you want the service itself, that is BDC On Demand — an outsourced phone room that works your leads — or Sales BDC training and Service BDC training if you would rather fix the team you already have. If you are not yet sure which of those you need, the profit evaporation assessment is ten questions and takes about three minutes, and the virtual store assessment goes deeper.

A note on how to read the library. The sections below are ordered roughly the way a lead travels: it arrives and someone has to respond to it, they have to say something, that has to become an appointment, the appointment has to show, and somebody has to be able to prove afterwards that any of it worked. If you only read one section, read the first one — response time is the single point where most dealerships lose the most and fix it the fastest.
